Project Direction
Fun House - 2018 Summer Block Party Installation
National Building Museum
Goal | Build a temporary, monumental installation that interprets familiar domestic spaces to illustrate the artistry of architecture.
Fun House was a football-field-sized installation, designed by Snarkitecture, that examines the prolific activities of the studio by re-imagining the home. Divided into three sections -- the lawn, house, and backyard -- Fun House included a sequence of interactive environments and objects, including a kidney-shaped pool filled with hundreds of thousands of recyclable plastic balls, reminiscent of The BEACH, NBM's blockbuster installation from 2015.
I provided project management focused on construction, procurement, budgeting, and scheduling for museum staff and contractors, and design consultants and contractors.
